After the game we rushed over to Aunt DeeDee's for Caleb to shower. We also stayed long enough for a few photo ops...he absolutely loves motorcycles.
Everyone was hungry. Oh, wait, that isn't true. Andrew and Kyle had pizza during the last game. The rest of us were hungry so we stopped at Bob Evans before making it to our final destination. Heritage Landing.
Loverboy was not as good as I had hoped. I think they are past their entertaining prime. Boy, oh boy, though, Joan Jett was a redeemer! She saved the entire night. She looked hot and rocked the house. Great concert. Definitely not a disappointment.
Saturday we were back in Spring Lake again for two more games. Before that, though, we stopped at Muskegon Catholic to give blood for friends. These friends' son has Diamond Black Fan Anemia and it only affects less than 700 people in the nation. He needs blood transfusions because his bone marrow fails to produce red blood cells. We planned to give blood that morning but the wait was too long {in a good way} and we had to skedaddle so we made an appointment at the end of the day instead.
The first game, not so hot. The second game, however, was a nail biter from go. The boys did an amazing job and pulled off a win in the final seconds of the game. Way to go, Whitehall Ballers.
Oooh...and to save my new it-makes-my-heart-pitter-patter-best- friend for last {but in nooo way least}...ta-daaaaa...
A side view, yes. But beautiful nonetheless. {and missing a few pair of shoes}
**Whew! It sure took a while to get this on here. I didn't blog at work all week except to start this at lunch on Wednesday. The pics were all loaded, but couldn't seem to get the last couple of paragraphs done. Now here it is, a week since all the happenings and so much more to catch up on.
