Update...

My mom just called to let me know my cousin's girlfriend, Jasamine, wasn't taken to Spectrum because of the weather and her internal bleeding so the GR doc came to her. He performed a (full?) hysterectomy. She will be okay. Wow! To go through all that. Mixed feelings on my part, for sure. I should be, and am, thankful she is going to be fine, but the aftermath is, well, I don't know. It definitely goes to show that you have to be thankful for everyone and everything in your life, not to mention every day.
