The weekend of September 22-23 was Youth Hunt. Caleb took his hunter safety course over the summer and couldn't wait to hunt. We were camping at Pioneer Park that weekend with the Starks for Baby Kyle's 2nd birthday. The Lil Vikes were being announced at halftime of the varsity game Friday night, we were celebrating Kyle's birthday Saturday afternoon, and Caleb had a football game against Port City Saturday evening, so his only chance to hunt was Sunday. He was able to hunt on DuPont property and this was his best chance of seeing a deer, let alone killing one, since he was the only hunter on the property that day. There is a ton to the story, but the bottom line is he got his deer!!!!! His allergies acted up quickly, as you can see...poor guy! My little Buck Slayer is AWESOME!! We are all so proud of him! Oh yeah... eat your heart out, big boys- My guy got a 5 POINT!
